I'm now working with centrifugal compressor and trying to reduce start up time. During start up compressor is being purged with process gas by sequence control.

The setup I'm contemplating is a turbo motor and I would like to add liquid propane for its high octane and how it would lower the intake temperature as it phase changes.

I was looking at permitting some chemical feed pumps and they technically do not meet the following 10 State Standsrds:

Does a 12 volt heat tape exist? Can 120v heat tape be modified for 12v? What size inverter is needed to use 120v heat tape from 12v battery? Is heat tape the answer?
